Software Support Technician

Summary

The Software Support Technician will provide technical assistance to SalesPad Partners and Clients. They will be responsible for answering questions or resolving SalesPad issues with clients via the telephone or in person.

Description

In essence, the Support Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the SalesPad software. Tasks will vary depending on the Partner and Client but will typically include the following:
- Oversee the daily performance of the SalesPad software;
- Installation and configuration of the SalesPad software and updates;
- Troubleshooting the SalesPad software by diagnosing bugs/faults;
- Problem resolution with clients; either face-to-face or over the telephone;
- Responding within a timely fashion to client concerns;
- Establishing a good working relationship with clients;
- Develop training materials and procedures regarding the proper use of SalesPad;
- Provide support documentation to clients, including procedural documentation;
- Prioritize and manage several open cases at one time;

Requirements

Job Requirements
- Experience working in  a Client Help Desk setting
- Understanding of the basic principles of Business Software
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Software troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of debugging problems
- Results orientated attitude and strong interpersonal skills
 - Degree required (Technology Degree preferred)

Sales and Channel Development

Summary

SalesPad Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Sales and Channel Development Representative whose primary function will be to recruit Microsoft Partners and assist those Partners in closing of sales of SalesPad software to prospective clients.

Description

The primary responsibilities of the Sales and Channel Development Representative are:
- Present and sell the SalesPad software and services to our current and future Microsoft Partners and Microsoft Dynamics GP users.
- Aggressively grow and develop our active base of Microsoft Partners.
- Close sales of additional products and services to our existing client base.
- Consult with Microsoft Partners to determine new opportunities and follow up on existing Partner leads.
- Diligently maintain a detailed log of Partner contacts and sales activities in the SalesPad CRM system.
- Develop and execute special sales activities consistent with company goals.
- Prepare paperwork to activate new sales such as quotes, proposals, and customer profiles.
- Work with internal SalesPad team to enhance client communication.
- Plan, participate, and drive attendance to marketing events such as trade shows and annual customer events.
- Continued follow-up with Partners and clients regarding project status and product satisfaction.

Requirements

The primary requirements for the position of the Sales and Channel Development Representative are:
- The ability to quickly learn and effectively demonstrate a robust business software solution.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Marketing, Management, or Information System).
- 2+ years business to business sales experience.
- An extreme customer service orientation
- Professional, creative, and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Junior C# Developer

Summary

The C# Developer will perform a variety of programming assignments that require knowledge of established programming procedures and requirements (C#). They will be responsible for maintaining and modifying the SalesPad software as determined by the Vice President of Development.

Description

Tasks will vary depending on the Partner and the Client but will typically include the following:
-Oversee the daily performance of the SalesPad software;
-Code, test and troubleshoot the SalesPad software by utilizing the appropriate technology;
-Refine data and format final product;
-Maintain and modify the SalesPad software; make approved changes as prescribed by the VP of Development;
-Test and develop programming modifications;
-Write new program code using approved specifications;
-Analyze performance of the SalesPad software and take action to correct faults based on client feedback and the approval of the VP of Development;
-Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed in SalesPad;
-Document programming problems that are encountered and the appropriate resolution for future reference.

Requirements

The primary requirements for the position of the Junior C# Developer are:
-Minimum of 1-2 years programming experience
-Knowledge of programming procedures and programming languages (C#)
-Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
-Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
-Results orientated attitude and strong interpersonal skills
-MUST have a degree in a Technology field
