Keep connected with SalesPad January training/webinar schedule Make your Order Entry even more efficient with sales document plugins SalesPad contains hundreds of features designed to simplify and improve your distribution operations. This month we'll introduce you to five of SalesPad's lesser-known sales document plugins available from the Actions () drop-down button on the sales document header. Attach Sales Line to PO Quickly associate open Purchase Order quantities with backordered sales document quantities using the Attach Sales Line to PO plugin. This plugin allows users to quickly see all backordered and non-inventory line items and quantities from the sales document. In addition, users can see any open Purchase Orders that contain these backordered items. Users can quickly "attach" expected PO quantities to backordered line items, eliminating the need to generate a completely new Purchase Order to cover the shortage. Availability The Availability plugin opens a window where users can see all line items on an order and all warehouses where the line items can be fulfilled from.In addition, users can adjust which warehouse a line item is assigned to be fulfilled from without returning to the main order entry window. These changes may be made for individual line items or for all line items with a single click. Click here for a step-by-step user guide of this plugin. Aggregate Pricing Do you distribute similar items with different item numbers that together qualify for a quantity discount? The Aggregate Pricing plugin allows users to set up sale items that can be grouped together for the purpose of calculating quantities to meet price breaks. Shipping Weight Useful for quoting shipping cost, this plugin displays, directly on the drop-down, the total shipping weight for items on a sales document. When selected, a window will display a breakdown of shipping weight per item and the total weight of the order. Shipping weight can be populated from the GP shipping weight field or another assigned user defined field. Click here for a step-by-step user guide of this plugin. Profitability This plugin displays each line item on a sales document, along with its price, cost, and calculated dollar and percent margin. The Profitability plugin assists your sales team as they work to keep prices competitive and margins healthy. Users can edit item price, item cost, margin dollars, or margin percentage on individual lines to quickly see the impact of their change on the total order.In addition, users may edit the desired gross margin percentage on the order to quickly see the impact on each line item.Changes are not applied to the actual sales document until the user chooses to apply them.
